Manage classes on a combatant registration

Introduction

If you hold a combatant registration, you can apply online to add classes to your registration. You can also manage your registration classes if you need to change from an amateur to a professional level.

Any class that you add, or change will expire on the same registration expiry date as your existing registration classes.

If you need to surrender an amateur combatant class to apply for a professional combatant class, you are not required to complete the form to Surrender a combat sports class or registration. You will be able to complete this change within this transaction.

If you need to surrender a registration or class, you’ll need to complete the form to Surrender a combat sports class or registration.

Eligibility

If you're updating your registration to professional combatant registration classes you must be aged 18 years or over when you submit your application.

What you need

• a MyServiceNSW Account
  • you may need details from 2 identity documents (such as an Australian driver licence, Medicare card, passport)
• your registration number
• the PDF forms:
  • a current Certificate of Fitness, completed by a medical practitioner and submitted within 28 days of the issue date on the certificate
  • a current Serological Clearance Certificate, completed by a medical practitioner or a pathology service provider, unless the Authority already holds a current serological clearance for you.
    Note: If you're under 18, the date of tests must be within the past 12 months. If you’re over 18, the date of tests must be within the past 6 months.
• a signed Parent/Legal Guardian Consent form for applicants under 18 years of age
• your payment.

How to apply

1. Check the eligibility requirements.
2. Gather the required details and documents.
3. Select the 'Apply online' button.
4. Log in to your MyServiceNSW Account.
5. Follow the prompts to manage class(es) on your combatant registration.

Once you've submitted your application, you'll receive an email confirmation and payment receipt.

Privacy

To manage class(es) on your combat sports registration with the Combat Sports Authority of NSW (NSW Office of Sport), you’ll need to log in to your MyServiceNSW Account.

More information

• You will not get a new medical record book as you've previously been registered as a combatant with the Combat Sports Authority of NSW. Continue using the medical record book issued to you when you first registered.
