Introduction
A club liquor licence allows a registered club to sell alcohol to members and guests, for consumption on and off the premises. The licence also allows the operation of gaming machines, subject to separate approval.
Eligibility
The applicant must be a corporation.
What you need
- a OneGov account or MyServiceNSW Account
- a floor plan showing the boundaries proposed for the licensed area (see How to submit a floor plan with licence application – PDF)
- details of the premises owner
- details of the organisation
- ABN or ACN
- the names and birthdates of all directors and officeholders
- an appointment of manager notice (if applicable)
- a copy of your development approval or consent (if applicable)
- a completed Statement of Risks and Potential Effects (SoRPE)
- proposed liquor trading hours
- a copy of the club's constitution
- a current Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) extract
- a liquor plan of management
- a gaming plan of management (if applicable)
- an applicant declaration (if applicable)
- a declaration by the proposed club secretary (if applicable)
- your payment.

- Follow the prompts to complete your application.

Site notice
Once your application is lodged, you will be sent a public site notice. You need to attach the notice to your premises until the application is granted. Council, police and agency stakeholders will be automatically notified of your application.
You must notify:
- neighbouring premises within a 100-metre radius of your venue
- recognised leaders or representatives of the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community
- Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health and social services in the local government area.
