Introduction

A National Parks Concession Pass gives eligible Australian pensioners and veterans free car entry into the 45 national parks that charge entry fees.

You can apply for a concession pass online.

Eligibility

You have one of the following:

  • Pensioner Concession Card (PCC)
  • Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA) Veteran Gold Card printed with TPI or EDA
  • letter from the DVA confirming you receive a Disability Compensation Payment at either the: 
    • 70% rate or higher, or
    • Intermediate rate.
      Note: DVA letters can be downloaded from DVA's MyService.

If you're a Seniors Card holder, you may be eligible for a seniors discount.

What you need

  • an email address that is not shared with someone else
  • your vehicle registration number
  • photo or PDF copy of the front of your PCC or DVA Veteran Gold Card, or
  • letter from the DVA confirming you receive a Disability Compensation Payment at either the 70% rate or higher, or the Intermediate rate.

How to apply

  1. Check the eligibility requirements.
  2. Select the 'Apply online' button.
  3. Provide the required information, along with any supporting documents.
  4. Read and accept the terms and conditions.
  5. Submit your application.

You'll receive an email from the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service within 3 business days to let you know if your pass has been approved.

If you're not able to apply online, you can call 13 77 88 or visit a Service NSW Centre with your supporting documentation.
