Introduction
You can apply for a refund on a maritime product or service:
- in person at a service centre
- by post.
Eligibility
- Former NSW residents who move interstate, register the vessel in the new state or territory and wish to claim a refund on the remaining NSW registration.
- Interstate acquirers of a NSW-registered vessel who wish to claim a refund on the remaining NSW registration.
What you need
- receipt for the product or service (if applicable)
- the form Request for refund – Maritime customers only (PDF)
- other supporting documentation relating to the product or service as listed on the form.
How to apply
- Download and complete the request for refund form.
- Return your form and supporting documentation:
- in person at a service centre
- by post or email using the contact details on the form.
