If you are from a refugee, migrant or similar background and would like support with understanding and accessing government services, a Service NSW team member can assist. This is a free and confidential service.
We can help you explore opportunities to reach your goals, as well provide information and advice on a range of topics including:
- supporting your family
- getting a driver licence
- studying and finding courses
- exploring hobbies and how to make friends
- how to find savings through rebates and vouchers
- starting and running a business
- getting help during emergencies and disasters
- connecting to local support services.
Appointment types
You can book an appointment to speak to a Service NSW team member:
- face-to-face in select Service NSW Centres
- over the phone.

When booking, you'll need:
- your name, phone number and email address.
- a MyServiceNSW Account (only if booking online)
How to book
Online
- Select the ‘Book an appointment’ button.
- Log in, or create your MyServiceNSW Account.
- Follow the prompts to complete your request for an appointment.
By phone
- Call Service NSW on 13 77 88
In person
- Visit any Service NSW Centre
You’ll receive an appointment confirmation by SMS or email.
Interpreter services are available if needed.

- This new arrival support service is part of the NSW Settlement Strategy, which brings together existing and new NSW Government initiatives to improve settlement outcomes for people from refugee and refugee-like backgrounds living in NSW.
