Change a class on a qualified supervisor certificate

Introduction

A qualified supervisor certificate allows you to supervise and carry out building or trade work as specified on the certificate.

If you gain further qualifications that allow you to work in additional classes, you can apply to add or change a class on your qualified supervisor certificate. You can do this at a Service NSW Centre.

Note: If the expiry date of your certificate is less than 6 weeks away you need to renew it before you can vary the classes.

What you need

To apply to change a class on a qualified supervisor certificate you need to provide the following supporting documents with your completed application form:

• proof of identity
• one passport size photograph
• original or certified copies of qualifications or experience that validate the change of class
• referee's statement (if applicable)
• additional details form(s) as indicated on the application form (if applicable)
• certificate of eligibility to obtain insurance (if applicable).

Payment

When you apply you need to pay a fee.

To pay at a service centre, check the payment options available.

Some service centres do not accept cash payments.

3. Visit a service centre with your documents and payment.
