Change address and contact details on an individual contractor licence

Introduction

If you're a licensed contractor and Building Commission NSW has your email address or mobile phone on record you can update your address or contact details online.

To check your contractor licence number and details, visit Verify NSW.

Only your address and contact details can be changed online.

Change of name

If you want to change your name on your licence you need to visit a service centre with a copy of the name change document such as a marriage certificate. Find out more about change of name.

What you need

To update your details you need:

• your name and licence number
• your new contact details.

How to change your details

1. Select the 'Change online' button.
2. Follow the prompts to update your details.

If you cannot change online:

1. Download and complete the PDF form Change of address/contact details.
2. To submit the form:
   • go to a service centre or
   • send it to the email address on the form.
