Change the details on a conveyancer licence – individual

Introduction

If you hold a conveyancer licence you must notify NSW Fair Trading of any changes within 7 days.

You can update your contact details (address, email or mobile number) online.

To check your conveyancer licence number and details visit Verify NSW.

Only your address and contact details can be changed online.

Change of name or other licence details

To change your name or other licence details complete the PDF form.

What you need

To change your contact details online you need:

• a MyServiceNSW Account
  • you can create one when you start your application
  • you may need details from 2 identity documents (such as Australian driver licence, Medicare card, passport)
• the details that need changing.

If you cannot submit online use the paper form.

For all other changes, you need:

• your contact details
• your licence number
• the details that need changing
• the documents described under the section 'Other changes of details' on the form 'Change of Details: Licensed Conveyancer' – PDF.

Change your contact details

1. Select the 'Change online' button.
2. Log in, or create your MyServiceNSW Account.
3. Follow the prompts to change your contact details.

Change your name or other licence details

1. Gather the required documents described under the section 'Other changes of details' on the form 'Change of Details: Licensed Conveyancer' – PDF.
2. Complete and submit your change of details form:
   • at a service centre or
   • by email using the details on the form.
