Change conditions on a driver licence

To change, add or remove conditions, including medical conditions, on your driver licence you'll need to visit a service centre.

Introduction

If you need to change, add or remove a condition on your driver licence (for example Transport for NSW may have requested that you have a medical review as part of a licence application), you'll need to visit a Service NSW Centre.

What you need

  • your proof of identity
  • your current NSW Driver Licence
  • documents relevant to the condition change, for example a medical report from your doctor, a driving test record sheet, or an HVCBA log book.

How to change

  1. Gather your documents.
  2. Visit a service centre to request the condition change.
