Change the name on a recreational fishing licence

Introduction

If you hold a 1-year or 3-year fishing licence and you've changed your name or it was spelt incorrectly when you applied, you need to notify the NSW Department of Primary Industries.

What you need

• evidence of your change of name or the correction of spelling
• your 1-year or 3-year licence, or your renewal number as shown on your renewal notice.

How to change

1. Call the Department of Primary Industries on (02) 4424 7499.
2. Provide evidence of your name change or the correction of spelling.
