Online Services is where you can access the services provided by Roads and Maritime Services, online and 24/7. Services include:

  • replacing your NSW Photo Card
  • replacing your rego renewal notice
  • booking or managing a driving test
  • receiving SMS and email reminders about when your rego is due for renewal.

For information security purposes, you first need to register an account, which you can do online.

  • your personal details
  • your NSW Driver Licence or NSW Photo Card
  • your vehicle registration details
  • an email address
  • to set up a secret security question
  • to set up a password.

  1. Select the 'Register online' button.
  2. Select the 'Sign Up' button, or 'Log In' button (if applicable).
  3. Enter the required information.

  • To be eligible to set up an Online Services account online, you need to have a NSW driver licence or Photo Card, and a vehicle registered in your name.
  • If you don't have a vehicle registered in your name, you can still set up an Online Services account, but you'll need to call 13 22 13 to complete the set up.

Payment methods

For online transactions:

  • credit or debit card (MasterCard, Visa, UnionPay, Diners Club or American Express).

For phone transactions:

  • credit or debit card (MasterCard, Visa, or American Express).

For transactions in person at a service centre:

  • cash (in Australian currency)
  • cheque (personal, bank or agency drawn)
  • money order
  • credit or debit card (MasterCard, Visa, American Express* or EFTPOS), or
  • Android Pay app.

Please note that you may need to pay a merchant fee when paying by credit or debit card.

* Unfortunately, some locations may not accept American Express.
