Renew a motor dealer licence

Introduction

If you’ve received your renewal notice, you can renew your motor dealer licence online.

You cannot conduct business if your licence is expired.

If you miss the renewal deadline and it's within 3 months of the expiry date you can restore your licence.

To find your motor dealer licence number and details, visit Verify NSW.

What you need

• your licence number
• your renewal number (as shown on your renewal notice), or your name, birth date and postcode.
• your fee payment.

How to renew

1. Select the 'Renew online' button.
2. Follow the prompts to renew your licence.

If you're unable to renew online you can renew your licence at a Service NSW Centre.
