Introduction

If your E-Toll tag has been lost or stolen you can report it:

  • online
  • by calling 13 18 65
  • at a Service NSW Centre.

You remain responsible for any toll charges on your account until you report your tag as lost or stolen.

Note: If your tag has been stolen, report it to the NSW Police Force to get a Police Event Number. If you do not have this, you will be charged a fee for not returning the tag.

If you need to replace the tag, call 13 18 65.

What you need

  • your E-Toll Account details
  • the Police Event Number (if you have one).

How to report

  1. Select the 'Report online' button.
  2. Log in to your E-Toll account.
  3. Select 'Make an enquiry' for a stolen tag or 'Tags' for a lost tag.
  4. Follow the prompts to report the tag as stolen or lost.
  5. Select 'Submit'.

Note: If you have not logged in to your E-Toll account since 1 March 2022, you'll need to reset your password by selecting ‘Forgot my password’. If you have issues logging in to your account, visit the E-Toll website.

If you're unable to report a lost or stolen tag online, you can call 13 18 65 or visit a service centre with your supporting documents.
