Introduction
If you've bought a business that has a commercial mooring licence, and you want to transfer the licence to your name, you'll need to submit an application.
Commercial mooring licence transfer applications are subject to approval by Transport for NSW (TfNSW), and additional approvals/permits from other agencies may also be required.
Mooring sites are continually assessed against factors including:
- safety of navigation
- the environment
- the amenity of the area.
Note: In some instances the transfer of a mooring licence may not be permitted to proceed based on ongoing assessments or other approval/permit requirements.
