Service NSW Business Connect
Business Connect is a dedicated program that offers free and tailored, one-on-one advice to women business owners and women who would like to start a new business. Speak with independent Business Connect advisors who have successfully run their own small businesses.
Business Connect advisors can help advise women business owners on:
- getting started
- business planning
- market research
- finding new customers, digital marketing and social media
- accessing finance and managing cash flow
- sales and pricing strategies
- selling to government and connecting to export advice.
You can speak to someone just once or ask for ongoing support. You can talk to a Business Connect advisor over the phone, via video conference or meet your local advisor in person. You can choose a female advisor if you'd prefer.
You can also access webinars, events and a toolkit of business resources to help you on your business journey, including 'start a business' events and resources.
NSW Small Business Commission
If you need help solving a business or commercial dispute, such as lease, licence or contract disagreements, you can access confidential and cost-effective support from the NSW Small Business Commission.
It's free to speak to a mediation officer for strategic or procedural advice. There's a fee for formal mediation.
