Introduction

If you hold a company or partnership contractor licence and become eligible to work in additional categories of work – for example, you've taken on a supervisor with additional qualifications – you can request to add a category(s) to the licence.

You can make your request:

  • online, if eligible, or
  • lodge a 'Company or Partnership Application' form with the updated details in person at a Service NSW Centre.

Eligibility

To add/remove categories online your current email address and mobile phone number must be registered with Fair Trading, and you'll need to have:

  • a MyServiceNSW Account
  • a current Australian identity document, such as a driver licence, passport, Medicare card, to verify your identity documents
  • the company or partnership's ACN or ABN.

What you need

The 'Company or Partnership Application' form (if visiting a service centre).

How to update

Online

  1. Select the 'Apply online' button.
  2. Log in, or create your MyServiceNSW Account.
  3. Enter the required information on the application form.
  4. Follow the prompts to add the additional category(s).

In person at a service centre

  1. Download, print and complete the Application Form – Company or Partnership – PDF
  2. Visit a service centre and submit your application in person.
