Introduction

You'll receive a renewal notice for your motor vehicle tradesperson certificate a month prior to your certificate's expiry.

You can then apply for a 1, 3 or 5-year certificate, online.

In some instances, you'll need to visit a Service NSW Centre to renew your certificate.

Note: If your certificate expires, you are no longer authorised to carry out the type of repair work outlined on your certificate.

To find your certificate number and details, visit Verify NSW.
