Introduction
If you hold a corporation property licence, a renewal notice will be emailed to you prior to the licence expiry date.
You can renew or restore your licence online — this is generally the fastest and cheapest way to apply.
Note: You cannot work if your licence has expired and you have not submitted an application to restore your licence.
If your licence has expired
If your corporation property licence has expired:
- within 3 months of the licence expiry date, you can apply to restore your licence – you'll need to pay a restoration fee
- more than 3 months of the expiry date, you'll need to apply for a new licence.
Note:
- You can use the details on your renewal notice to apply to restore your licence.
- You cannot trade until the new licence is issued.
Eligibility

Note: You must notify NSW Fair Trading within 14 days of any change to the licensee's name, address, or other registered particulars. To do this online go to Change the details on a property certificate or licence.
What you need
To apply online you'll need:
- a MyServiceNSW Account
- your corporation licence number
- your renewal number (as shown on the renewal notice)
- details of your corporation.

How to renew
Use the online form
- Select the 'Renew or restore online' button.
- Log in to your MyServiceNSW Account.
- Enter your licence number and renewal number to check if you're eligible to renew.
- If you're eligible, follow the prompts to submit your form.
