Who is responsible for regulation 

In NSW, the real estate industry is regulated by the government agency NSW Fair Trading. The agency is responsible for assessing and approving licence applications, as well as investigations and enforcement actions.

Change the details on a property certificate or licence 

Renew or restore an individual property licence

Replace an individual property licence 

Surrender a property certificate or licence

Mutual recognition

If you hold a property licence in another state or territory, or New Zealand, you may be eligible to apply for the equivalent in NSW.
