Do not create a new MyServiceNSW Account
This can cause issues with multiple accounts.
When to call or visit us
If you cannot access your email and have forgotten your MyServiceNSW Account password, you'll need to call us on 13 77 88 or go to a service centre.
For example, if you used your work email to create a MyServiceNSW Account and then change jobs, you'll need to call or visit us.
When you can do it yourself
You can change your email if you:
- can log in to your MyServiceNSW Account, or
- can access email to reset the password for your MyServiceNSW Account.
What gets changed
When you change your email, we'll update the email:
- that you use to log in to your MyServiceNSW Account
- on your Driver Licence and Vehicle registration.
If you use other NSW Government services, you’ll need to change your email for the other services separately.
How to change your email address
Option A: Using your MyServiceNSW Account
- Log in to your MyServiceNSW Account.
- Go to 'Manage account'.
- Go to 'Personal details'.
- Select 'Update' next to 'Email'.
- Enter your new email and follow any other prompts. Then select 'Continue'.
Option B: Using the Service NSW app
- Log in to the Service NSW app.
- Select the profile or 'person' icon.
- Select 'Personal details'.
- Select 'Email'.
- Enter your new email and follow any other prompts. Then select 'Continue'.
