What we do

At Service NSW we want you to be able to find and access NSW Government products and services in the way it suits you, when it suits you.

Service NSW delivers a one-stop-shop for the residents and business owners of NSW to access a range of government services. Our omnichannel network, made up of Service Centres, Contact Centres, Mobile Service Centres, Driver Testing Centres, Business Concierges, Business Connect, Council Agencies, the Service NSW website and the MyServiceNSW app, makes it easier for people, businesses and communities to access the government support and services they need.

How to find transactions on our website

The Service NSW website is the gateway to NSW Government digital and offline transactions for industry licences, certificates and registration.

Our transactions are organised around 12 main services categories, by topic or service area.

In-person services

Service centres can help you complete most NSW Government transactions. Driving tests in NSW are held at selected service centres.

There are over 120 service centres across NSW. There are also mobile service centres that travel regularly to remote and regional communities. Mobile service centres offer all the same services apart from handling cash transactions.

You can book an appointment at a service centre, but you're always welcome to visit a service centre without a booking – you can check how busy a centre is by looking at its web page.

Many service centres offer Quiet Hours. During Quiet Hours the centre's lighting and noise (such as phones and music) are turned down. You can find Quiet Hour times and dates on the centre's web page.
