About our booking service
You can book an appointment online before you go to a service centre. You need to provide your contact details when you make your booking so we can contact you if we need to reschedule.
Bookings you can make
You can book an appointment to:
- take your documents to be checked at a service centre
- talk to a Savings Finder specialist about savings and concessions
- get help after a natural disaster or emergency
- do your Driver Knowledge Test (DKT) in-person
- take a driver or rider licence test
- access government services for migrants or refugees.

Take your documents to a service centre
If you're applying for, renewing or replacing a licence, certificate or permit you may need to go to a service centre with your documents. By booking an appointment online before you visit, you can avoid long wait times or delays.
Before you book
Before you book an appointment:
- check the document and identity requirements for the service you need
- download or print and complete any paperwork or forms
- check if you need to bring proof of your identity.
Make your booking then bring your documents to your appointment.

You can book a free 45-minute appointment with a Savings Finder specialist. They'll help you find and apply for rebates, vouchers and discounts that you may be eligible for.

Get help after a natural disaster or emergency
Service NSW offers Disaster Assistance appointments when support is available after a natural disaster or emergency has been declared.
We help with the recovery effort by assisting people affected by a bushfire, flood or storm to find and apply for financial assistance and other support.

Your privacy
If you have booked a Savings Finder or Disaster Assistance appointment you may be asked personal questions about your situation. We may ask about your health, household assets and income to check what help you might be eligible for.
You can choose how much information to share. You can choose not to answer a question or stop the appointment at any time.

You'll receive confirmation of your booking plus a booking number via email, and SMS (if requested).
