What you need to know
A MyServiceNSW Account connects you online with NSW Government services, quickly and securely.
You can change or reset your account password online at any time.
For security and privacy reasons, your MyServiceNSW Account is for you only – keep your account details private.
Change or reset your password
- Go to the Log in screen and enter your email.
- Select 'I forgot my password'.
- Select 'Reset my password'.
- Follow the prompts. You will be asked to create a strong new password. We’ll provide you with help on how to do this.
If you are already logged in, go to Change password in your account.
If you cannot get into your account
We recommend you reset your password if you can’t get back into your account, or call us on 13 77 88.
Unlock your account
You will be locked out of your account if you try to log in using the wrong details too many times.
If you want to try again, you will receive an email with a link to help you unlock your account. This link expires in 5 days after it is sent to your email.
You can also reset your password at any time to get back into your account.
