Introduction

Motorists need to pay to use a toll road in NSW.

If you’ve used a toll road and do not have a toll account or pass, you’ll receive a toll notice to pay. This will be the price of the toll plus an admin fee.

It can take up to 4 weeks to receive a toll notice after your date of travel.

Note: To avoid getting a toll notice, you can open an E-Toll Account or order an eMU Casual Pass and backdate to your date of travel. You can do this within 3 days of travelling on the toll road.

What you need

  • the vehicle licence plate number and state of registration
  • the toll notice number (if known)
  • your tag account details (if applicable)
  • credit card/debit card.
