The Waste Assets Management Corporation (WAMC) is a statutory corporation created under the Waste Recycling and Processing Corporation (Authorised Transaction) Act 2010. This Act has since been amended to the Waste Assets Management Corporation Act 2023, allowing WAMC to act as the NSW Government’s central agency for managing and remediating contaminated sites.

WAMC provides specialised rehabilitation and management of closed landfills. It is also a joint-venture partner in renewable energy business and provides other specialised environmental services.
