Catherine leads the operational and enabling functions of Service NSW, including:
- governance, risk, compliance, WHS, policy and ministerial and parliamentary
- procurement and contract management
- privacy, data governance and fraud advisory and investigations
- asset management, property, facilities and fleet
- training, knowledge, employment and leadership programs
- customer resolution and advocacy
- employee engagement.
Catherine also leads the administration of grants, rebates and vouchers delivered to support NSW citizens and businesses impacted by crisis and disaster events, and other cost of living and targeted financial support programs.
Under Catherine's leadership, these teams work with all divisions across Service NSW, with our partner agencies, with DCS and other stakeholders to ensure delivery of services for customers, to manage risk, meet our compliance obligations and to equip our people with relevant skills and knowledge.
Previous roles
Catherine brings a broad background to Service NSW, including experience in the public sector at State and Commonwealth levels together with experience working for and consulting to some of Australia’s largest companies and not-for-profit organisations.
Prior to joining Service NSW, Catherine was the Department of Customer Service’s Executive Director of Governance, Risk and Performance, a business unit she built from its formation. Previously, Catherine was Executive Director of Corporate Affairs at the Department of Finance, Services and Innovation.
Catherine is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
