Jim is an experienced senior executive with over 23 years' experience in security and emergency management roles across the public and private sectors.  

As the acting Executive Director, Disaster Preparation and Recovery, Jim leads a Division within Service NSW to drive improved customer experiences in the face of natural disasters.

Previous experience

Prior to joining Service NSW, Jim was with Telco Authority and was responsible for the state's Telecommunications Services Functional Area (TELCOFA), which coordinates support and resources for telecommunications during emergencies. Jim has held senior executive roles in emergency management and security in a range of agencies across state, commonwealth, territory and the private sector.
