Doors have opened today to a fresh and improved Tamworth Service NSW Centre, ensuring an enhanced experience for customers when completing NSW Government transactions and services.
Following a recent refurbishment, the Service Centre has a new concierge area for when staff greet people upon arrival, a new meeting room for customers to enjoy booked appointments with a Service NSW team member and receive dedicated support, new seating, a fresh coat of paint inside the building and increased back-office space for staff.
Work was completed over the past week, mostly outside of the centre’s operation hours.
Tamworth Service NSW Centre opened at 476a Peel Street in October 2013. Last year, there were more than 68,000 customer visits to the centre with people appreciating the efforts of the team, giving them a nearly 99 per cent satisfaction rating.
Service NSW undertakes a refresh program every year to ensure Service NSW Centres, requiring an update, are maintained for customers and staff such as replacing seating, adding more self-service points for people to complete transactions, and improving the safety and security of the facility.
Tamworth Service NSW Centre is open Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm and Saturday 8.30am to 12.30pm. For more information, visit the Service NSW website.
