Howard is currently Acting Chief Digital Officer at Service NSW, leading the organisation’s digital capabilities and driving large-scale transformation to deliver simple, trusted and integrated services for the people and businesses of NSW. The digital division operates and maintains live products and services including the Service NSW app, MyServiceNSW account, digital identity and digitising government services with partner agencies in NSW.
Howard is a senior digital product and technology leader with over 15 years’ experience in the private sector and public service. He brings a broad industry perspective to the challenges and opportunities of public sector digital transformation.
Howard holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from the University of Technology Sydney.

Howard brings a strong track record across consulting, travel, financial services and government. His expertise spans the full digital product lifecycle, giving him deep end-to-end knowledge and expertise in how digital products are strategised, designed, delivered, scaled and maintained.
Since joining Service NSW in April 2020, Howard has held a number of senior leadership roles. As a Director in Service NSW, he led large multidisciplinary and cross functional digital teams, delivering digital solutions and products to people and businesses of NSW.
