People living in Marrickville and surrounding suburbs will benefit from increased driver knowledge test availability and a more convenient location when the Marrickville Service NSW Centre relocates to a larger premises within Marrickville Metro.

Due to open in August this year, the new centre will be located in the new section of the shopping centre near Coles Supermarket, Level 1, Shop 1006-1008, Marrickville Metro Shopping Centre, 20 Smidmore Street, Marrickville.

Service NSW will ensure continuity of services when the new centre opens with people still able to complete from 1300 NSW Government transactions.

The new Service NSW Centre will have a dedicated space for booked appointments to help customers with cost of living support and phone appointments will still be available.

The team will also be able to connect business owners with a Business Concierge for free, ongoing and personalised support for every stage of their business.

There were more than 112,000 customer visits to Marrickville Service NSW Centre last year with people appreciating the efforts of the team, giving them a 98 per cent satisfaction rating. Some of the most popular transactions were renewing driver licences, completing driving and knowledge tests and applying for a Working with Children Check.
